  1. Interesting shape of dice.

I was really confused at the start as to what your device is, even after you have answered my questions.

Very interesting how you used Rhino to store your design junks and you were able to reinvent your junk already. But aren't we suppose to DESIGN a device?

Didn't have any central image in your presentation. Didn't know what to focus on.

Your group is the "detail" group, but there were no evidence of zooming on any part of your design.

Very impressed with your computer work done on Rhino though.

  2. Dearest Grace...

Very interesting idea about using computer program, rhino as trashcan to store your junks. So it is not going to be waste of any space at all since you keep your works on computer file. Presentation is very helpful for us to understand the process of your works how they been differentiated from the original junk to the final product. Also like the idea about using "dice" as a device to get an idea what you could do with your junk. Which is a very good solution to combined the idea of mechanism(computer) and randomness(dice) together. But not quite sure about the process of your design idea how you got up to this point. So it would be much better for people to gain more understanding of your works from your ideal process.

  3. I really liked your idea of using dice to dictate the actions you take on Rhino in order to manipulate the design junk. A very simple yet interesting concept. It was also quite helpful to see that you used previous design ideas (from last semester) to demonstrate how new ideas are generated. i do agree, though, with the other "critics" in that your presentation and design process is rather difficult to follow, and the design does not obviously link back to the reading. However, i think your idea and way of manipulating your "design junk" is quite effective (and powerful, you could say). Good work.
