I found your philosophy of making people more aware of their surroundings very fascinating as we do not fully appreciate the surroundings most of the time.
ReplyDeleteYour philosophy was achieved very well with the blocks and leaves moving up and down randomly, which leads to passerby taking more precautions when walking through that area. The seasonal change and slippery ice lake contribute to that as well. That nicely leads into the idea from the literature of how architecture changes the way people behave.
Although the blocks and lily leaves are related to your neighbours' work and from your threshold, it would be even better if they added more to the winter theme to enhance the experience even further.
That is the only advice from me. Other than that, good job on the snow effect. That ties in with the ice lake very well, which adds to the whole experience of the change in season to winter. It is also very nice to see your hobby being included in your project.
